VISION 2019-20
WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
We believe that Jesus is indeed the Son of God who, over 2,000 years ago, came down to this earth in human form, lived a sinless life, and then paid for the sins of all mankind by dying a horrific death on a cross. However, He was - and still is - God, and He proved that by rising from the grave on the third day, just as prophets had been predicting centuries before and He himself had said earlier in His life, during His public ministry.
We also believe that all of this is only relevant to us today because Jesus, after dying on a cross to pay the price for the sins of every single person in the history of mankind, defeated death (the ultimate wages of sin, Romans 6:23) by rising from the dead. We believe that this makes Jesus is our ultimate Redeemer, and that He is now our Mediator to God the Father. He desires to have a personal relationship with every single individual who will trust Him as his or her Lord and Savior. He promises eternal life with Him forever as a reward for our commitment to Him, as opposed to eternal death without Him forever, as a consequence of our refusal to accept His free gift of salvation from sin.
